Linda J. Lezotte Chairs “Green Development” Forum for Sustainable Silicon Valley Coalition

Linda J. LeZotte, Berliner Cohen land use and environmental Of Counsel, is the chair of the Sustainable Silicon Valley’s quarterly educational forum, “Green Development: Beyond the Myths and Barriers,” January 23, 2008, at Roche Palo Alto. Berliner Cohen is participating as a sponsor of the event, which will be attended by key public and private entities committed to reducing the Valley’s carbon footprint through sustainable building practices.
Ms. LeZotte will deliver a presentation on green development, followed by business representatives addressing topics such as commercial and residential green building, green improvements in multi-tenant properties, and meeting demands for green workers. Ms. LeZotte joined Berliner Cohen in 2007 as a land use and environmental/municipal law attorney with a focus on green development. She served eight years as a distinguished member of the San Jose City Council and six years as a San Jose Planning Commissioner. Prior to public service, Ms. LeZotte practiced for three decades in the areas of corporate, partnership and estate planning law.
